Machinist (Night Shift)

The machinist shall demonstrate the ability to perform multiple machining operations from detailed drawings, sketches, or verbal communication in order to meet customer specifications.  Also, demonstrate the ability to assemble tool components, gages, and fixtures to meet customer specification suitable for a manufacturing environment.  The machinist shall demonstrate the ability to perform maintenance of tools, gages, and fixtures, to ensure capabilities consistent with manufacturing requirements.  The machinist shall perform his/her duties in a timely manner so as to parallel the ideals in the Winzeler Stamping Company Mission Statement.  The machinist, through the elimination of waste and continuous improvement efforts, shall strive for the goal of total customer satisfaction


Die Setter

Under limited guidance follows established procedures to safely set-up transfer and/or straight-sided presses in the most efficient manner to produce a quality part that ultimately results in total customer satisfaction.
 
The die setters are required to support multiple projects and work with cross-functional teams to achieve total customer satisfaction and in an effort to continue the ISO 9001 certification by meeting quality standards and procedures


Production (Night Shift)

Production Supervisor - Night Shift

The Production Supervisor works directly with manufacturing employees, Product Planners, Maintenance Supervisor, Tool Room employees, Plant Manager, and the Engineering and Quality Departments to ensure the successful production of customer parts per the customers’ requirements to ensure total customer satisfaction.
 
The Production Supervisor manages and supports personnel working in the production area to obtain the highest degree of efficiency.  The Production Supervisor has the authority to ensure the existence of a fully functioning manufacturing process.
 
The Production Supervisor identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities in all areas of manufacturing.
 
The Production Supervisor provides strong leadership in developing trust and teamwork, while fostering an environment for continuous improvement and achievement for all employees while utilizing Winzeler Stamping Company’s philosophy and guiding principles for decisions and actions.

Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal and State labor, wage and hour laws and Company employment policies.   The Human Resources Manager implements and coordinates training programs, and ensures adherence to Company policies and procedures. 

 

The HR Manager focuses on positive employee relations and addresses employee issues and/or concerns in a timely manner.  The HR Manager also develops, implements, and maintains Human Resources activities, employee programs, and related systems.

Manufacturing Engineer

Winzeler Stamping Company is a leading independent manufacturer of proprietary and custom-designed stamped and machined metal products and components.  We are a privately held 4th generation family-owned company in our 100th year, with two business divisions operating from two separate facilities located in Montpelier, Ohio.
 
We are looking for an energetic person to join our team who can lead project management during new job launches and continuous improvement projects. The manufacturing engineer will assist in development and troubleshooting of progressive and transfer dies, develop timing and cost estimates, identify and implement new technology, and provide plant-wide engineering support.  Other position objectives include new equipment and process projects, conducting R & D and design experiments, improvement of manufacturing set up and run times and corresponding efficiencies, internal and external corrective actions, and responsibility for timely reporting of appropriate key metrics.
