Winzeler Stamping Company is accepting applications for the open position(s) listed below. 

Tooling Engineer   -The Tooling Engineer will lead tooling design and development efforts during new job launches and continuous improvement projects. Additional responsibilities include design, development, and troubleshooting of transfer dies, preparation of timing and cost estimates, identification and implementation of new technology, and improvement of manufacturing set up and run times and corresponding efficiencies.

Required Qualifications include:

  • Minimum 3 years stamping experience required
  • Die design, development and troubleshooting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in experience

Preferred:

  • Experience in automotive industry and cost estimating preferred
  • Computer skills to include AutoCAD/Inventor, project management software, ERP/MRP, Microsoft Office

 

Die Setter - The Die Setter will safely set-up and operate progressive continuous coil straight-sided presses or transfer presses on 2nd shift. 

Qualifications include:

  • Desire to work second shift
  • Minimum one year progressive continuous coil or transfer die setting experience with set up experience required
  • Working knowledge of straight-sided presses
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Mechanical background and/or ability
  • Ability to read gages, calipers, and blueprints
  • Experience with metal forming and machining equipment
  • Working knowledge of basic mathematical principles required
  • Basic computer skills
